Grand Central is a restaurant offering Contemporary American dining 7 days a week for our neighbors and visitors to Palm Springs. We are centrally located in the historic La Plaza shopping center in mid-town Palm Springs, walking distance from the Hard Rock Hotel, Palm Springs Art Museum, the Hilton and Hyatt hotels. And every Thursday, we are in the midst of the VillageFest farmers market.

We are housed in the site of Palm Springs’ original department store, Desmond’s, which opened in 1936. Grand Central combines elements from historic elements of pre-Modernism (including its prominent octagonal clock) with 21st century styles to create a warm, inviting and one-of-a kind social dining experience. You’ll discover multiple distinct dining areas, including a large dining room, full bar/lounge area, patio dining space and a separate dynamic event space available for public or private events.
